South America

One of the last continents for me to discover, after spending plenty of time in Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania and even North America (keeping Antarctica as a desert), while the continent has so much to offer. But finally, I am planning my trip to Chile to hike the Torres del Paine O circuit.

Why I love South America

If I could choose one, only one thing why I love South America, it would be Torres del Paine and/or it’s nature in general. Yeah, sure, the culture is amazing. So is the food. So are the people. But … Torres del Paine.

Since I first saw pictures in a magazine I was sold on Patagonia and more specifically Torres del Paine. One of the most remote areas of the world and -arguably- one of the most impressive and beautiful. With it’s amazing varying landscape and three landmark peaks, the park has been elected as the fifth most beautiful place in the world by National Geographic, and the 8th Wonder of the World by TripAdvisor.
